Friday's Fab Fortunes {12.15.17}

It's Friday and you know what that means!!! Here are this week's top five WHOAments for which I am grateful! Enjoy!

"giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ," ~ Ephesians 5:20 (NKJV)

Unexpected Smiles!!

This week, I surprised Kayla by picking her up right outside her classroom (rather than waiting for her to walk to my car). The smile on her face when she saw me was priceless. As our daughters get older, it is satisfying to know that my presence can still genuinely put a smile on their faces. #UnexpectedSmiles

Christmas Traditions!!

I am grateful for the Christmas traditions that LT and I are establishing for our little family. Every year, we have a set of activities that we look forward to doing with our girls. This year, Christmas time seems to have snuck up on us and now we are having conversations about which of those activities we will actually get to do within the next two weeks. Because the girls are getting older, the traditions may need to be tweaked to fit their ages, but the fact that we will still be together as a family puts a smile on my face. #ChristmasTraditions

One of our Christmas traditions: Traveling to Bethlehem A.D. in Redwood City, CA

Home Sweet Home!!

Today I am grateful that this will be our first Christmas in our new home. Although we are still in the process of turning it into everything we want, this home is a true gift and I cherish it. I look forward to spending this Christmas and many, many more holidays in our new home. #HomeSweetHome

Still Getting It In!!

Today was the first day I worked out this week. But this morning, I woke up with a determination to get it done. My advice to anyone wanting to begin a healthier lifestyle journey is to start with walking. When I walk outside, I am able to enjoy nature while getting fresh air. In our neighborhood, there are so many beautifully decorated houses and pretty trees with awesome-colored leaves to take in while I walk. I am so glad to have gotten it done. #TCsGettingHealthy

Meet Pip!!

If you read Monday's WHOAment, "I See You", you know this little bird came to deliver a message that I really needed to "hear". Today, right as I sat down, (s)he's back. Although I don't think (s)he came to deliver the same message as Monday, I do think (s)he's coming around to remind me to stay focused on the task at hand -- especially since (s)he only seems to come when I am sitting at my desk writing. I've decided to name him (or her) Pip Squeak (Pip for short) because of its little size and squeaky chirp. #MeetPip

Unfortunately, this is the best picture I could get of Pip today because, unlike Monday, (s)he wouldn't stay long enough to pose for a picture and s(he) only came by twice.

Selah!
