Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.

*What were your top five Fortunes from this week?1 A revelation about "Faith Works by Love/God". 2 I prayed everyday for 5 mins;

*What is your favorite room in your home? The living-room. Its comfy and a great place to play games, have conversations, watch movies and read/relax.

*When is your date night/day? Not married, so don't have that yet. I plan to start something for myself in the meantime.

*What are your plans for this weekend? Track meet for my youngest son on Sat. Sunday, church, then my cousins' house for a fun filled day!

*What words/descriptions best describe your mother (or Mother figure in your life)? Lesson's learned. My mom is cool and she makes me laugh.

I was thinking of returning back to school. Whenever I remind myself that it has been nine years since a life-changing time for me, I am also reminding myself to refocus!

That said, I thank you for the reminder!

Good morning, TC, and thank you for the nudge to stay focused.  When my mother came to live with us, I stopped working on my dissertation.  She had only a short time to live so being sidetracked seemed justified.  But, after she transitioned, I did not return to my regimented routine of spending time doing research and writing. That was four years ago. I should have finished my dissertation three years ago.

The president of the seminary has recommended me for a great position and I will need my doctorate to qualify.  He told me that the position will open in one year. So, Tip, I must refocus.  I have got to regroup. I must get busy.

Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for sharing this. As I move more and more toward not seeing a salon again, I see that it is possible. It helps that I have a daughter who likes to try new styles on me. Truthfully, I would prefer to have someone do my hair for me, but when I started counting up the cost, it was a no brainer-Do something differently I did go natural!

I enjoy your blog

Talk about grateful-I sure am!

1. Being able to spend time with my 94 year young mom and preparing for a 95th birthday.

2. having a family that loves me.

3. Embracing the silver in me and on my head.

4.  A roof of our own to live and to help others

5.  The sacrifices I made earlier in life.

6.  Having children who are doing there own thing in their career choices and have a relationship with Christ

7.  Being able to really see, speak, walk and talk, not in the hospital

8 A job I enjoy

9.  Family and friends

10.  opportunity!

Your testimony made me cry! It reminded me of speaking to those contrary thoughts with God’s word. “His thoughts are not my thoughts”. Thank you for sharing and praise God for your healing!

TC's Response: Thank you, Andrea!! :) I am soooo grateful for the teaching we receive at BCF because in another life, those words of doubt would have probably been the only thing I listened to... and I am sure the outcome would have been much, much different! :)

Great reminder tips on dating your spouse! Our schedules have changed & we have dates during the day. Visualizing my spouse in the light of day, relaxed, enjoying an iced tea on the waterfront. I find enchanting. My soul soothed that for a time, I am his only care in the world.
