Friday's Fab Fortunes {2.2.18}
It's Friday and you know what that means!!! Here are this week's top five Fortunes for which I am grateful! Enjoy!
"giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ," ~ Ephesians 5:20 (NKJV)
Black History Month!!
February is recognized as Black History Month. It is the month set aside to recognize the achievements and contributions that African Americans have made throughout U.S. history. Although it still boggles my mind that even in 2018, African Americans are not recognized or included as part of "American" history , and that we still need a separate month. Yet, I digress. Happy Black History Month! #BlackHistoryMonth
Happy Birthday, Mama E!
Tomorrow is my Mother in Law's birthday! I thank God for blessing her with another year of life and wish her many more, filled with love, prosperity and blessings. I also thank God that she is in my life!! Happy Birthday, Mama! I love you! #MamaEsBDay
Ms. Francis!!
In last week's Fab Fortunes, I highlighted my annual date with my mom. I also mentioned that I was looking forward to seeing an older woman who always takes care of me at the event. Her name is Francis and she was there! She had big hugs for me as soon as she saw me and she checked on us throughout the night. She even tried to give me some bread to take with me when the event was over. But, I declined. I'm trying to get rid of rolls, not bring them home. (smiles) #MsFrances
(That's not bread in the bag I'm holding. LT made us garlic butter and Ms. Francis washed the container and put it in the bag. #Favor)
His Protection!!
This week while at the laundromat, there was a police incident happening right outside and I had no clue...until a woman ran in screaming, "OH MY GOD! THEY HAVE GUNS! THERE ARE GUNS!" I ignored her at first but when I looked up, there were two police officers with their guns drawn on a man who was attempting to run away. Long story short, I thank God for His protection and covering because although chaos happening around me, I was protected. I was not aware, harmed nor impacted in any way! #HisProtection
The Super Blue Blood Moon!!
On Wednesday, I got to witness the Super Blue Blood Moon! It was profound to see reports from people all over the world who were watching it unfold. If you missed my WHOAment, "Look Up!" click here to find out more about this rare occurrence. #SuperBlueBloodMoon
It's blurry but I got it.
