Friday's Fab Fortunes {12.8.17}
It's Friday and you know what that means!!! Here are this week's top five WHOAments for which I am grateful! Enjoy!
"giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ," ~ Ephesians 5:20 (NKJV)
Our Children Are Blessed!!
During our summer break, the girls and I visited Hobby Lobby, an arts and craft store, where Kayla -- in her usual "Kayla way" -- struck up a conversation with a [random] woman who was there looking for items she could use in a miniature dollhouse she was making. During the course of the conversation, the woman showed us pictures of her massive collection and eventually asked if she could give Kayla a dollhouse. After a few exchanges over the summer, Kayla and I visited her this week and Kayla selected a HUGE miniature dollhouse (the first modern miniature dollhouse ever made) and was given (free of charge) all of the accessories, dolls, furniture (some still in their original packages) for it. It was so much that it took two trips to bring everything home! Seeing the promise of God in action warmed my heart: "And your children will be blessed..." Deuteronomy 28:4 #BlessedChildren
Christmas Joy!!
Anyone who has followed my WHOAments for a while knows that I love, love, love looking at Christmas lights. I'm not sure why, but seeing all the lights brings out my childlike wonder. So you can imagine how elated I am to see that in our new neighborhood people go all out with the decorations and lights! I don't have to go far to enjoy all the lighted reindeers, snowmen and elves! (It also makes me want to step up our decorations next year. Next year. Baby steps. ha, ha). #ChristmasJoy
Our Home Improvements Are Coming Along!!
I am loving our house even more as it comes together. We have a laundry list of desires to get it completely to our liking, but we are ticking things from the list! The latest is that our kitchen remodel is finished and all the appliances are installed! Anyone who has ever undergone a renovation knows how things may not go as planned but I am glad it's completed! And it's beautiful! (Maybe a reveal is coming...maybe). #HomeImprovement

Lunch and Bling!!
This week, I had lunch with two of my Sisterfriends. We were able to catch up and laugh while enjoying good food, which is always a treat. Good friends are priceless and I cherish all of mine. During lunch, one of them encouraged me when she said, "Hey, I haven't received any WHOAments lately! What's going on??" (Thanks for your encouragement, Felicitas!) The other presented me with a special birthday gift, which I love. It's a Swarovski crystal bracelet with the words "Loved and Blessed" engraved on it. Anyone who knows me, knows love all things blingy and shiny! It's perfect! Thanks, Zoveyda! #SisterFriends
Happy Birthday To Me!
On December 1st, I turned 43 years old! Although I still feel like I am much younger, it is a blessing to see another year! God blessed me with a husband (and children) who celebrated my birth all weekend long. I had an awesome birthday and look forward to many, many (at least 77) more! #HappyBirthdayTC
