Friday's Fab Fortunes {5.5.17}

It's Friday and you know what that means!!! Here are this week's top five WHOAments for which I am grateful! Enjoy!

"giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ," ~ Ephesians 5:20 (NKJV)

Hello May!!

It's a new month! New months are always a great time to reset and begin again. May also brings lots of beautiful flowers (tulips and orchids, my favorites, are beautiful around this time!) It's also the month in which Mother's Day is celebrated and when we get away for our annual Mother's Day weekend. #HelloMay

He Tried It!!

This week's WHOAment, "I Just Don't Feel Like It, TC!" was published later in the day than usual due to "technical difficulties". It was a particularly good one (especially for me), so I wasn't surprised that the adversary tried to delay and block its release. But based on the comments and feedback I received, it didn't work! We were still blessed by it and God gets the glory! #HeTriedItButWeWon

Encouraged Someone Else!!

This week, someone else encouraged me by reporting that because I reminded them, without preaching, about the importance of praying and reading our Bible to receive and do God's Word. He said that he has been more focused on God's Word, making sure to read his Bible daily. It's a process, but once you begin, you will want to continue. #EncouragedbyEncouraging

Cinco De Mayo!!

It's Cinco de Mayo! This date commemorates the Mexican Army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. I can definitely appreciate this day because God constantly uses the "unlikely" and the "underdog" to bring us to victory, with Him! I can definitely relate!! #CincodeMayo

Fifth Sunday Fellowship!!

Last Sunday, LT & I joined forces with about six other people from our church and we served our entire congregation a brunch after service -- and it didn't cost them anything! We served everything from unlimited and assorted pastries, yogurts, fruits, juices, coffee, tea and chicken and waffles! We understand that we are blessed to be a blessing and this was our way of demonstrating it to our church family! #BlessedtoBeABlessing
