Mission Accomplished!!
Last year, I encouraged all my California WHOAment friends to sign a petition that would get us closer to ending daylight savings time. Well, it worked! On November 6th, Californians will have the opportunity to get the ball rolling towards ending daylight savings time by voting "yes" on Prop 7. Prop 7 will give Legislature the ability to change our daylight saving time period. So, I encourage all Californians to vote "yes" on Prop 7 so we can join other states by keeping our clocks set to standard time. (YAY!) #YesonProp7
*This will continue to be a highlight until Election Day! :)
Kayla's Making Progress!!
This week, we received Kayla's progress report and she is thriving in 5th grade! She received plus marks in almost all areas!! That's a huge improvement because in years past, she has been dinged for talking. (If you know her, you know how she LOVES to talk, so that's quite an accomplishment!) #GoKaykes
Love Notes!!
This week, I received the sweetest note from one of our neighbors. To know that God has blessed us with fellow Believers and friends as neighbors is priceless and I don't take it for granted! (Thanks, "KW") #NeighborsTurnedFriends
Jazzy Vs. "Michael"!!
Last week, Jazmyn and I had our Mommy/Daughter date. We saw "The Hate U Give" and it was really good. We read the book together, so, naturally, we wanted to see the movie together. While waiting for the movie to start, Jazzy had an encounter with "Michael Meyers" and it was THE MOST HILARIOUS thing ever!! Ever! It's Our Date Night!!
It's our date night and you know what that means: it's time to hit the streets with my Boo! For those keeping up, it's LT's turn to plan. Looking forward to some quality time alone! #IssaDate
