Friday's Fab Fortunes {12.16.16}

It's Friday and you know what that means!!! Here are this week's top five WHOAments for which I am grateful! Enjoy!

"giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ," ~ Ephesians 5:20 (NKJV)

Still Impacting Others!!

I am still grateful for the impact that Breaking the Silence is having on others. This week, I received several confirmations from others about how God used our message to reach them. This may be on my top five for a while! #BreakingtheSilence

The Dance Off!!

Today was the last day of school before winter break. I walked into Kayla's school and EVERY CHILD in there was hyper from the candy/cakes/pies/cupcakes/sugar they had at their afterschool party. It was crazy. They were HYPED. Before we left, they had an impromptu dance off and this was a clip of Kayla doing her thing (if that's what you want to call it)

It's Christmas Time!!

I am a huge fan of Christmas lights! I get joy driving from neighborhood to neighborhood looking at all the flickering white, green, gold, red lights. To me, the lights represent joy and good times. I am grateful to those who take the time out to decorate their houses for my enjoyment. #ItsBeginningtoLookaLotLikeChristmas

The Power of Encouragement!!

I am the lead over one of the helps ministry teams at our church, The Greeters. Last Sunday, I witnessed the power of encouragement and an example of Christlike love. I won't go into detail, for the respect of others. But, I will say when someone needs encouragement, don't take it for granted that you will be able to offer it to them "later". Just take the time and lift them up. It makes all the difference in the world. #GreetersRock

Jesus Is The Reason!!

Times are changing. I went to two different stores on a scout to find bulk Christmas cards for family and friends. Nine out of ten said "Happy Holidays" or were laced with snowmen, Santa Claus or gingerbread men. I was hard pressed to find one that said "Christmas" or the words "Jesus", "Lord" or "blessings". I am grateful that I know the true meaning of Christmas and it is not gifts, Santa Claus nor Rudolph! Christmas is the time to celebrate the birth of our Risen King, Jesus! #JesusistheReason
