Friday's Fab Fortunes {12.2.16}

It's Friday and you know what that means!!! Here are this week's top five WHOAments for which I am grateful! Enjoy!

"giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ," ~ Ephesians 5:20 (NKJV)

Giving Thanks!!

On Sunday, our church had a special Thanskgiving service. In his message, "Giving Thanks", Pastor Rick confirmed that we are blessed to be blessings to others and giving thanks should not be dependent on circumstances or moods. Then he and our First Lady, Mrs. Rhyon, demonstrated this principle by blessing each and every person who helps the ministry by serving on a ministry team with $25 gift cards. I received a two because I serve on The Greeters Team as the Team Lead! I am grateful for our Pastor and Mrs. Rhyon who continue to bless me, both spiritually and physically. #ILoveMyChurch

Continued Blessings and Dreams Fulfilled!!

The month of December always serves as a reminder that the year is almost complete and soon we will usher in a new year with new beginnings. Today I reflected on all the fulfilled dreams that I've been blessed with this year. One of them is that I am now writing full time, from home, while taking care of my husband and children. Another is that our relationship with our eldest daughter, Denae, is restored. There are others; far too many to list here. But know that I am grateful for fulfilled blessings. 2016 is not over and I know that more of my desires will be crossed off the list as I remain faithful to God.

World AIDS Day!!

Yesterday, December 1, was Worlds AIDS Day, which is a day set aside to give people world wide an opportunity to unite in the fight against HIV, showing their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. This day is especially close to my heart, having lost my father to the disease. You will have an opportunity to learn more about the impact that AIDS has had on my life in an upcoming WHOAment. Stay tuned! #WorldAIDSDay

My New Logo!!

I mentioned before that I was in need of a graphic designer to create my WHOAment logo. It turns out that I didn't have to look far to find the person. Looks like God has added "Graphic Design" to my resume. Ask and you shall receive. Now I have a logo that will be used throughout my brand. (I also thank God for LT because his input really tightened up my vision!) #WHOAment

Here's a sneak peak of my new logo:

I AM 42!!

Yesterday, I celebrated my 42nd birthday! I spent the day with my family, doing things that I love and I am thankful to see another year! Life is good! #AgeAintNothinButaNumber
