I am the PLT Sergeant and yes I would ask him to pray before the Convoys. I would also add SGT Hays and His Gun Truck Crew lead Multiple Convoys as Lead Vehicle, suffering multiple enemy attacks and he never relinquished his responsibility to his Soldiers, to Our Company and to The Army. I trusted SGT Hays with my Life. He would lead us through the valley of death with His Strong Faith in the same God he asked during our convoy briefings. That is my Whoa moment!
