Friday's Fab Fortunes {8.19.16}

Wow! It's Friday already! Here are the top five things that I am grateful for this week. Enjoy!

"giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ," ~ Ephesians 5:20 (NKJV)

God Sent Me A Graphic Designer!!

In last week's Friday's Fab Fortunes {8.12.16}, I told you I created a rough draft of my new logo (YAY!), and I asked for referrals to a Graphic Design Artist. Well, about 45 minutes after I released the post, a [reliable] family member contacted and reminded me that she went to school for Graphic Design and asked what I had in mind! I believe God sent her my way and that I will have a new logo very soon!

Kayla's Manicure Was Free!!

Being a mom to girls is a lot of fun! One of the things I've always enjoyed doing with Jazzy and Kayla is taking them to the nail shop for mani's and pedi's, which is both fun and (sometimes) costly. This week, Kayla's mani was free! I would have posted a picture but she messed them up already. Thank God it was free!

I Love My Support System!!

This week, I received several messages, via email and text, from friends and family who reached out to let me know they were either encouraged by my blog posts or thinking of me and their messages were right on time! To know that I have support from others is very encouraging and appreciated.

One of My Favorite Christian Vloggers Prayed For Me!!

Thanks to the wonderful world of social media, some time last year I came across another Christian Naturalista named Pam Glass. Although I started following Pam's social media sites because her hair is awesome and she gives great natural hair tips, I subscribed to her channels because she uses her platform to encourage and lead others to Christ. This week, I had an opportunity to connect one-on-one with Pam! After reading and subscribing to my blog, she gave me a special shout out and recommended my blog to her [5000+] followers! But while networking is awesome and appreciated, the Fab Fortune is that she prayed for me!! I believe in the power of [specific] prayer and to know that someone else stands in agreement with my prayers, is awesome. Here is what she wrote in her prayer journal:

This Week Is Date Night!!

Every happily married couple will tell you that one of the keys to making their marriage wonderful is spending quality time together. After seven years of marriage to LT, I still look forward to our Date Nights! We make our time together more interesting by alternating the planning. This week, I am responsible for the planning and I am looking forward to showing LT a great time!
