Just finished reading your words. I am glad that [our former boss] saw you as a hard worker and advocated for you. I know at the time when she wanted you to transition to her I was resistant but knew that you deserved to advance. I have always appreciated your work ethic, loyalty and your Christian values. Sometimes you have to be selfish and take care of yourself. You are blessed with Lorenzo and a good family which always should be first priority before a job.

Looks like I am in that fork in the road now that I need to also pray and ask for guidance as to what is best for me and my family. Thanks for sharing this with me. If you don’t mind, I am going to share this with [someone else]. I think she would appreciate it.
