Summer is Here!!
This week, we welcomed the first day of summer with a heatwave! In Northern California, we experienced record-breaking highs, which I loved (for the most part). With temperatures in the high 80's and 90's, Kayla and I saw the pool more during these past few days than any other day in summers past. (Yes, I got in the pool as well!) #SummerisHere
Going on Vacation!!
Soon, we are headed out of town on a family vacation to visit and spend time with extended family, eat good food and make new memories. I always enjoy our getaways and look forward to our time together. #ThompsonFamilyVacay
Almost at the Finish Line!!
We are one step closer to crossing out another 2017 goal! I can see the finish line so I can't stop now! Looking forward to sharing all of our completed goals with you! #ICanSeeTheFinishLine
It's A Date (or Two)!!
Tonight is our scheduled date night and you already know how much I enjoy our date nights! As if that weren't enough, we will also take part in our church's date night for married couples on Sunday! So I get two dates this week! You know I'm smiling! #ThompsonDateNight
Father's Day Celebration!!
Last Saturday, I took part in an all day Father's Day celebration for two important men: LT and my Uncle Ernie. LT is my hubby and although he is not the biological dad of my two daughters, he IS, by all intents and purposes, their father. Uncle Ernie stepped in after my father passed and became like a second dad. What made the day more special is that the original idea to celebrate them came from my mom, which speaks volumes about her love for her "Son-in-Love" and her "Brother-in-Love" (as she refers to them)! #FathersDay2017
