Lerline Gandy: Blessed and Highly Favored

My grandmother, Lerline Lucile Gandy, affectionately known to many as “Mom”, “Grandma”, “Nanny”, “Sister Gandy” and “Mother Gandy”, transitioned from this life on January 28, 2021.

In 2017, my cousin, Sydney, asked me to interview her in honor of her 75th birthday celebration. I was honored to accept because now her words, laughter and stories live on for me to cherish.

I'd like to share this interview with you, in hopes to give you a glimpse into the life of this extraordinary woman of faith, love and compassion.
